From April 2008, driving at work will fall under The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, this means that you, as an employer, will be responsible for your workers safety whilst they are driving at work. You must "as far as it reasonable practicable" ensure that your drivers are safe and not going to harm themselves or others during their work.

We can undertake full driver risk assessments on all your staff, documenting our findings and prioritising areas at risk.

What you Should Know!

On April 6th 2008 The Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act will be implemented. This means that you, as an employer could be found liable for any injuries or fatalities occurred whilst driving.

You could be responsible for your staff having an accident whilst driving during work hours or on work related activities.
